Thursday Night Thinking

This week, there was only one choice: Bart "Impulse" Allen, contemplating his lofty social status.

Maybe not the kind of brainpower usage Diamondrock intended, but for Bart's streamlined synapses, this was practically meditation. Until we meet again, Bart....

Yes I prefer Wally as the Flash over Bart.. but did they really have to kill off Bart to make that happen?

I would even have been okay with Bart as the Flash had the torch been passed properly. Making Bart the Flash was done rather arbitrarily and Wally's disappearance was never fully or adequately explained. Hopefully that will be rectified with All Flash #1 next month. Although from the sneak peek I've seen of the cover (which has to be one of the worst comic covers I've ever seen) Wally looks rather constipated.

On another (DC related) note, a friend of mine and I were discussing Robin and he mentioned that he thinks Tim Drake is really being groomed to take over as Batman... Dick has killed either through action or inaction so he's crossed that line which Batman never crossed making him more similar to Jason Todd/Red Hood than to Batman.
